Simone d’Antonio is a journalist based in Rome and he works at the Italian Association of Cities and Municipalities (ANCI). He oversees the communication and dissemination activities of the National URBACT Point for Italy and contributes to the work of the ANCI’s Studies and Research Department. Along the years he coordinated the communication of many EU co-funded projects involving Italian and European cities.
Simone’s articles and reportages on urban topics appeared, among the others, on The Guardian, Reuters, The Atlantic, Citylab, Citiscope, Place, Il Sole 24 Ore and La Repubblica. Simone is also part of the Solutions Journalism Network and actively contributes to the Urban Journalism Academy programme, launched by UN-Habitat to promote innovative storytelling on cities.
