As an Advisor for Innovation and Foresight for the International Transport Forum (ITF) at the OECD, Philippe Crist focuses on disruptive urban mobility scenarios, and examines their implications for car-based and active mobility, public transport and urban space and vitality. He leads ITF work on data science and investigates how policy and regulation might adapt to an increasingly algorithmically driven world.
Through his work he helps public authorities to rethink public space allocation, considering new travel practices and business models. His main priority is to make sure that mobility contributes to humanizing us and ensuring that cities remain catalysts for serendipitous creation. “When we get cities right, we get humanity right.” – he says.
