Miranda leads the Cities Project at the Ellen MacArthur Foundation. She has always been passionate about what government and policy can do, and what factors can cause great change. In policy, she has worked at the national government and on an EU level, and in the last decade, she has grown particularly interested in the potential at a city level. London has been her main home, though other cities she’s lived, schooled, and worked in include Dusseldorf, Paris, and Brussels.
Recently, Miranda has led the Ellen MacArthur Foundation’s Circular economy in cities research project exploring urban circular economy opportunities in three major urban priority areas – buildings, mobility, and products. The work has looked at the economic, social, and environmental benefits of a system change from linear to circular economy practices for cities.
