Marta Oliver Tizón
Marta Oliver Tizón promotes changes in habits of everyday life in order to find a balance between real needs and the world of finite resources that we live in. As environmental technician at Sant Cugat del Valles City Council, Marta tries to introduce the environmental variable in all areas, for instance by fostering the construction of self-sufficient public and private buildings. She advocates for a rethinking of the water cycle use and a renewable energy production that goes beyond what state regulations require and currently works on the city’s Sustainable Energy Action Plan.
Marta firmly believes that “thinking global, acting local has an incalculable power but constancy is vital”.
