Magne Aanstad Bjertnæs
Magne Aanstad Bjertnæs works as a team leader at Sweco in Lillehammer. He is considered to be one of Norway’s top league specialist on wooden constructions. Magne has worked on the design of bridges, buildings, and constructions, with special emphasis on wood in constructions since 2005. Magne is currently working on the world’s tallest timber building, the Mjøsa Tower in Brumunddal.
He has won the Nordic Wood Award for his work with large wood projects such as the 14-story building Treet i Bergen, and he was involved in the two last expansions on Oslo Airport Gardermoen. Magne is a graduate engineer from NTNU.
