Johanna Palomäki is the master planning architect in the city planning department of Lahti. She has done groundbreaking work at the city of Lahti, developing a continuous strategic planning process which utilizes interactive and digital planning methods. Her special interest lies in holistic planning, where citizens‘ health and well-being are a product of the quality of people’s everyday environments and mobility.
Currently, Johanna and her team are creating a city information model (CIM) of the strategic future goals of the five city centres of Espoo.
