Fritz Kuhn is the mayor of the city of Stuttgart. He was the first member of the German Green Party to win such a position in a state capital in German history. Fritz is also a founding member of the German Green Party.
Stuttgart´s economy is characterized by a strong automotive cluster, hosting the headquarters of major global companies such as Daimler, Bosch, and Porsche. As mayor, Fritz Kuhn has to consider this economic background and the mindset when working at pivotal issues for the city’s future such as mobility and transport, by e.g. giving more space to bikers and pedestrians, as well as the adaptation to climate change.
