Ellen de Vibe
Ellen de Vibe works as Chief Town Planner at the Agency for Planning and Building Services in Oslo. With the Fjord City redevelopment project, where brown field sites have been turned into a multifunctional city fabric with a harbor promenade and 13 commons, she has strongly influenced the cityscape of Oslo.
She’s currently focusing on topics such as affordable housing, car-free city center, and climate-friendly development/pilots. Ellen is excited about the car-free city center and the fringe city development (Hovinbyen). It’s her passion and priority to transform visions into built environment with high architectural quality.
